They're going away again...

UPDATE from the secretary...

7/7 - Denis and I are in Missoula Montana right now. I hope everycat who is teleporting over for the party at our house cleans up after yourselves. Have fun! You only have two days before the girls' grandma gets home.

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

Tracy and Denis have been putting a bunch of clothes and things into their boxes on wheels again. They went away just last month. Can you believe they are going again?! A nice girl was here earlier today and Tracy was showing her our food, water and litter box. Then she gave me a pill while that girl was here - how embarrassing! Then she showed her how to use our computer and TV. I think that girl is going to come and stay with us. I guess that will be okay. She petted me and said I was a nice kitty. She also said that Monica is beautiful! Well, she is right about that too.

I doubt that we will be blogging for a while. They are packing a LOT of clothes. Bye everycat! We will miss you...

addendum from Tracy - we are going on a two week vacation. The "nice girl" is watching Phoebe and Monica for the first week and then their grandma will be back to take over.

Secret Paw

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

Look at what came in the mail the other day!
It's our secret paw package. It was loaded full of things for Phoebe and I. Phoebe started to work on getting it opened up.

While she was working on getting the packages opened, I took a look at the card. Look at those pretty cats! They look very lifelike in this picture, don't you think?

It was from Lilly Lu and Iris. The note sounds like Lilly Lu wrote it, but Iris helped her pick out the presents. Particularly, it says here, some nip... Well, let's have a closer look here.
Oh, a catnip fish for each of us. That smells very intoxicating.
And here is a bag that smells very good too.
Some pretty pink mice. They are the perfect size for carrying around by the tail. Lilly Lu said that the pink dotted one is especially from her.
Tracy opened up that plastic bag and inside were these little puff balls that are bathed in nip! Oh, they are great!
And a nice soft blanket for lounging on with the nip balls.
Umm.... why is the room spinning a little?
Time for some girl-cat wrestling.
I'm not sure what this one is for but I like the colors and it pretty cuddly.
Is it time for a nap now? Thank you so much, Lilly Lu and Iris, from the bottom of our nip-intoxicated hearts!

Naptime

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

Earlier, I showed you a picture of Monica and I watching TV with Tracy. Then I told you about my Denis and how he sometimes naps with us on the couch. Well, here is a picture of us three having a nice nap on the couch. Denis sometimes falls asleep here at 3 AM and forgets to go into the bedroom to sleep with Tracy. That's what happened this time. Tracy got up in the morning and found us all snuggly together.

Pet Peeve #5

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

On the mornings that Tracy works, she usually gets this monstrosity out of our computer room and sets it up in the living room. It is a very large and dangerous item called an "ironing board". When she pulls it out, it is flat. Then she makes this hideous noise and it folds out to what you see above. Then she places some of her clothes on top and rubs them with that device you can see sitting on top of the board. I'm not sure why she has to do this, I don't see that the clothes are any different when she is done. When I see the board coming, I get as far away as I can. I'm sure that it would whack me if I got too close. Do you have one of these in your house? Do you have any ideas of how we can get rid of it?

Doing our part

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

Well, we finally got our pictures into the new computer box and then the new ones off of our camera. Hooray! Here is a picture of our new cat litter. One day, Monica and I were discussing the public service announcement that Pablo gave a while ago about global warming and wondering what we could do about it. Our old cat litter was a clumpy kind. Tracy took out the clumps and put them in a bag and threw them in the garbage can. From there they went to the dump and sat there for who knows how long in with all the other gross stuff.

Well, we searched for something better and this is what we found. Our new litter is really different. It comes in little twigs. When we pee on it, it turns into sawdust. Tracy scoops out the poops and flushes them. When it all turns into sawdust, we will put it in our compost pile and it will be useful! Isn't that a neat trick?

Photo Hunters - Hair

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

I haven't done a photo hunters post in a couple of weeks, but I found the perfect picture for this week's theme. As you can see from this picture, my sister Phoebe has lots of hairs - furs to be exact. Of particular note are the extra long furs tufts in between her toes. She also has extra long ear fur tufts, but you can't see them that well in this picture.

You may be wondering if we got the pictures into our new computer box yet. Sadly, no, we did not. Tracy is making some excuse about the picture program not letting her register it because it was registered on our old computer box. She says it should get fixed on Monday when she can call the customer service people. Oh well, I found this one already on our box from before. (I know that's confusing, I don't get it myself.)

We're still here

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

I'm sorry about the delay in our posting anything new. We still have Tracy working on getting our new computer box doing all the things we want it to do. She is supposed to get our pictures into the new box, but she keeps doing other things... Umm... I don't mean to complain, but I have got some good pictures on our camera that we need to get into the computer box. I have plans to try to do a movie. But I have to see if I can find info about how to make a movie on the cat blog help center. I want to catch up on all our friends, but Tracy keeps doing other stuff. Well, I guess we'll get it all fixed up soon. Sorry we haven't been around much. I miss all our friends.

Suzanne Sleeps

Sweet lady Suzanne fought a brave battle against kidney disease. She found great comfort in her Momma Toni's loving care this past weekend and went to the Rainbow Bridge today. She will be missed by all in the Pablo Fan Club. Rest in peace, Suz.

Flowers for Suzanne

Our dear club member, Suzanne, is very sick today. She is spending some nice quiet time with her mom, Toni. I think she will like these flowers and they may help her feel a little better.

We got our new computer box today and I am back in my rightful place on top of the desk, dictating to Tracy. I've got her working on reinstalling all of our programs and bookmarking our internet sites.

My Denis

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

Since I am having to use Denis' computer and can only use the pictures on his computer box, I thought I would tell you a little bit about him.
1. Tracy ordered him over the internet at a person store called Christian Matchmaker. I don't know how much he cost.

2. He is very handy. He built that railing that he is standing in front of above. He also built this rock wall.

3. He is missing a leg like our dog friend Jasmine. Sometimes he walks with sticks under his arms and sometimes he straps on a spare leg. I wonder who he got it from.

4. He plays the guitar. So does Tracy, but Denis plays better. I don't like it when Tracy plays the guitar, but I sometimes stick around when Denis does.
5. He likes to own special guitars. But when he moved in here with us three girls, he decided to sell some of his guitars. He sold three guitars on Ebay, but he still has three (two acoustic and one electric). This one was a special guitar made in Ireland that he sold to a man in the UK. They don't make very many of them so the UK guy couldn't find one there. Isn't that funny?

6. He works until very late at night (1 or 2 AM), so he keeps me company after Tracy has gone to bed. Then he sleeps during the day until about noon. This is great for me because one or the other of them is around for me to observe most of the time.
7. He is a "little person" like on that TV show Little People, Big World. He is shorter than Tracy. They both seem tall to me though.
8. He likes me better than Monica. Shhh, don't tell her... He pets me and talks to me and thinks I'm cute and funny. He thinks Monica is too pushy and bossy.
9. He plays finger games with me - like poking his finger through the holes in the crocheted afghan or the laundry basket. And he lets me bit his fingers when we play. It's very exciting.

Those are the most interesting things that I can think of about my Denis.

Somthing's up

Something funny is going on around here. Our computer screen is all black and nothing happens when we hit the buttons. And the big box is gone from under the desk. Yesterday when Tracy was at work, Denis let this man take the box away.

So today, Tracy is helping me use Denis' computer to write this post. The bad thing is that I'm not allowed to sit on top of Denis' desk, so I'm having to dictate from the floor. The indignity of it all! Tracy explained that we are getting a brand new box to go under our desk and we are giving our old box to Grandma cause her computer died. I didn't think that computers were ever alive anyway, but go figure. Anyway, I hope our blog will still be in our new box somehow.

Peace, man!

Ooops! Something went very wrong when we made our peace globe. We tried over and over to get it to come out bigger, but we couldn't. We used MS Paint. Anyway, there it is, if you can see it...

UPDATE: Thank you Skeezix, for fixing our globe. You are very smart and have helped us out several times.

Lounging

Here is a family picture of Monica, Tracy and I lounging in the evening. This is where you will usually find us watching TV if we are not blogging. We like to watch crime dramas, sit-coms, cooking shows and poker. We also watch several shows on TLC like What Not To Wear and Little People, Big World. The best part is really just being together.
