Update

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

Phoebe and I have once again been prevented from blogging by the escapades of Tracy and Denis. They keep going out and leaving us for hours on end. They spend a LOT of time at That House (the one that smells like an unhygienic cat). Phoebe and I looked over the contracts quite thoroughly. We voiced our concerns about buying a house with another cat's scent in it, but they didn't listen to the voice of wisdom.
Here is Denis signing the contract. It is official, we are going through with the purchase.

Some of our friends have been a bit confused about this territory expansion. Just to clarify, we are not moving into That House. We are staying right here. We are buying this land so that we have more room to explore. We will own Grandma's house as well as That House. Phoebe and I don't think that we should have any people live there. People tend to make trouble. Here is a picture of what the layout is.
The yellow house is our house. The green one is Grandma's and the grey one way at the end is That House.

In other news, our new cat litter box is working out quite well. Tracy seems to be doing a better job of keeping it tidy.

We were very saddened to learn today upon our return to our blog that club member Anastasia went missing one week ago and seems to have gone on to the Bridge. Anastasia was a classy girl and very stylish. The Pablo Fan Club will be a bit lonelier without her.

We have had lots of new friends stop by the Pablo Fan Club in the last month. We are way behind in confirming them as official Fan Club members. I will see to it that I do that in the next few days.

Very busy around here

Dear Pablo and fan club members,

A lot of our friends have been asking where we have been. We have definitely been very neglectful of our fan club chairfeline duties. But there have been lots of negotiations and business going on at the Pablo Fan Club Headquarters that we have been attending to. Monica and I have been overseeing the negotiations for Tracy and Denis these last two weeks. Here is a rundown:

Firstly, Tracy is on the committee that plans the annual American Diabetes Association fund-raising walk. She bring home some assignments sometimes and Monica and I help her with them. This time, we were filling these bags with information about how to sign up a team to walk.
This is a very important cause because Diabetes is a disease that is really growing in the United States and around the world. The American Diabetes Association helps fund research about diabetes treatment, fights to protect the rights of people with Diabetes and educates people about it too. Grandma has Diabetes and Tracy teaches people about it each day at her job, so it is important to us.

Tracy is going to walk. I asked her if I could go on my harness, but she told me that D-O-G's go on the walk. I guess maybe I'll stay home and keep Denis company. If you would like to contribute to Tracy's fund-raising, you can go here.

The other business at hand is an expansion of the Pablo Fan Club Headquarters. We are purchasing the land that my Grandma lives on. As you may remember, she lives right next door to us. That land belongs to Tracy's brother who moved away. We are buying it so that Monica and I can explore it completely without tresspassing. (we explored it before, but now we will be completely within our rights as owners, you see...) Monica has been studying the paperwork for this sale. Tracy and Denis keep asking other people to look at the papers, too, as if Monica's opinion wasn't enough!

We will keep you all posted about the developments.

We're Back!

Dear Pablo and faithful fanclub members,

Well, the weekend has come and Tracy is back at her post helping us blog. Thank heavens this crisis is over. Thank you to you who were ready to start picketing for our rights at a moment's notice.

It turns out that we do not have a contract with Tracy regarding her blogging services. She says we have a "good faith agreement" which means it's not formal. She provides us with food, water, toys and scritches. In exchange, Phoebe and I supervise the household activities, guard for intruders and generally grace her with our presence. The blogging bit was an add-on for mutual benefit, but she says that it must come after work stuff, chores, blah blah blah. I guess we can live with that.

So, anyway, we are back in action and ready to catch up on all our friends' news that has happened in our absence.

On Strike, Part 2

Dear Pablo,

Thanks to our friends who have voiced (or typed) concern about the strike here in our house. Monica thought that she was reading our contract with Tracy, but it was actually a magazine. She told me to look for the contract so I'm looking in this stack of papers on our desk. I'm not sure how Tracy finds anything here in this pile of stuff. (but it does make a nice platform for me to sit on while we blog.) Hmmm... The thing is, I don't remember us ever signing a contract.

On Strike

Dear Pablo,

I'm sure that you have missed me and wondered why I have not been blogging lately. Tracy has gone on strike and not been helping us blog for a few days. She says she has just had some other priorities right now. I'm checking our contract now to see how long we can let this continue before we take measures. I'll get back to you.
